Street Teams from Friday 14th November

Heather Bellchamber (leader of Friday's 'Street Teams') writes:

Street teams was so amazing tonight that I really wanted to share testimony!

God’s presence was really moving so strongly amongst the people we met. Before we went out God gave us a picture of many angels walking into and around town with us – ministering with us as we were, even ministering to the people around us whom we weren’t necessarily focussing on. I was particularly touched tonight by one of the guys who we have known now for the last few months, Barry.  It has been absolutely incredible to see him grow in the Lord and be so hungry for God and for the Word. He is getting so involved in the Church, and said he feels like it is his ‘real family’, it is a ‘real community where you know people genuinely care for you and don’t see you as different’. He referred to church on Sunday as being the ‘best night of my life’. He could really sense the joy and peace of God in the church. He said he had never felt so relieved, free and calm as he did when coming away from meeting with God at Chris’ cluster on Wednesday night. He knew it was the Holy Spirit. It was such a privilege to sit and listen to Barry whilst he poured out his heart at how much his life has changed over the last few weeks. It was also such a privilege to have him actually pray for me at hungry for God on Thursday, as we got prayer for going out prior to Saturday for healing on the streets. Barry was also telling me that he has put on over a stone since we have been coming out. The most amazing thing was, he didn’t state that it was because of the food we had been coming out with, but because he is now so much happier, and when he is happy, he feels like eating! Even more so than when he was living in accommodation and had been getting 3 meals a day!

We also saw Alan (not penguin) tonight, and he told us how his stomach got healed after we had prayed for it a few weeks ago!

Praise God for all he is doing!! What an absolutely amazing privilege it is to join with Jesus.
