Encouragements from H.O.T.S.

The first week we went out (4th October 2008), one of the team members gave a man a flier. Without thinking twice, he immediately made a bee-line for the team area, and asked for prayer for his neck, as he was in a lot of pain, and was actually on his way to the Doctors. We prayed, and he said it was a little better. So we prayed again, and it was completely healed! Praise God!

Last week on the streets (1st November 2008), we had a very encouraging time! God was doing some great stuff in people's hearts. Many people were touched emotionally this week, and really wanted God to intervene in their lives in different circumstances. I really feel that people's hearts softened towards God as the Holy Spirit fell and touched them as they had prayer. It was very powerful. Many people broke down in tears, and left with much more peace. There were some people who were so keen to know more about God and his love, and stayed to chat to a few members of the team for a long time. We met a few people (one team member met someone in the bathroom!) who were Spiritualists and were able to share the Gospel and God's love to them. We had a really good chat with a large group of young people about God and were able to prayed for a couple of them too.
