Healing on the Streets 5th November 2011

This Saturday I wasn't able to join the team, unfortunately. But Ruth tells me it all went according to God's plan. A number of ladies came for healing and the team had a good number of ladies to pray for them, so here's a synopsis:

• A Christian lady came for prayer. She had been through divorce and was feeling broken guilty and robbed off life. The team prayed healing, God's love over her, and restoration. She normally walks into town another way but today was impelled to go via us!
  
• A lady received prayer for her friend's daughter who was diagnosed with cancer. The team prayed complete healing and restoration in the name of Jesus. The lady herself had recently lost her Dad to cancer.
• An elderly lady who looks after her more elderly father received prayer for strength and energy.
• A lady came who is moving to Scotland to be with her Granny. The lady we prayed with is a single Mum who's boyfriend had left her. Her parents had died, one of them by suicide. We prayed healing for her Granny and for her during her pregnancy, and a blessing over them.
• The team prayed for healing for a guy with a dis aligned jaw who had an essay to write. God's love and strength were very evident.
• A couple with map in hand received prayer for direction in where God wanted them to be. The team had words and pictures for them.
• A lady came who was mourning the loss of her father and was suffering from depression. The team prayed peace over her.
• A Christian lady received prayer as she was feeling low and worried about her two sons in Africa. The team prayed love, blessings and direction over them.
• The team prayed through a lot of things with a lady including praying that God would bless her. She was wearing a dove, pearl, and butterfly ~ peace, precious, and beauty.
• The team prayed peace and love for a guy who visited the benches.

Sounds like God was definitely evident. Looking at the list, I notice a family theme and a wish in people to care for and be with family members, praise God. I thank God that we can show people something of His family when we offer to pray with and care for them.
