Before the team went out, during the worship time, the Holy Spirit came in great power and the team had a wonderful time! He went with them onto the High Street, too and a super time was had by all, by all accounts. Lots of people came for prayer and loads happened:
- A friend had prayer for energy and to receive complete healing. The Holy Spirit really touched him and he was filled with joy.
- We prayed for a lady for a cold to go.
- We prayed for restoration in the body and life of a dear soul known to some of us. We also prayed against the irregular heartbeat of a family member and for favour as another in his family sets up a new business.
- We prayed against one team member's bronchial infection which he told me later had gone and for another team member's health and work situation.
- An elderly gentleman who had a plate in his back and heaviness in his left leg came for prayer. During this his leg grew and he felt something happen in his left leg! He said he will see us again on the street.
- Another team member also received prayer against back pain. In the light of the previous event, we pray he will have had healing over the next few hours.
- We prayed against another cancer in another team member's Uncle.
- We prayed for a street musician who we have prayed with before. This time he had wisdom prophesied over him. He said he trusted our integrity which is a real blessing and encouragement.
- A lady came with a lot of worries, needing God's presence. She ended up signing up for Alpha.
- Another lady came wanting more of the Holy Spirit, and she got it!
- A guy came for prayer against prostate cancer. God's presence fell. He is having tests next week and will let us know. Please keep this in your prayers.
- We prayed for a gentleman's Mother & sister who were both ill.
- A lady came who had 3 brothers with cancer and she and her sister both had broken wrists. There was a real sense of spiritual attack.
- A team member approached a gentleman who we see every week with a word about his left side and he said he had had the pain but didn't want prayer as were all around him praying. God's presence and atmosphere obviously have been in his life.
- A team member received prayer against a skin condition again.
While the team was out, a guy approached them who had never received prayer but who had chatted with team members often in the past. He was able to tell us that we had profoundly impacted his life. What an amazing encouragement!
During the last couple of weeks we have had other testimonies from people being bold in offering prayer. On Sunday at church a guy came for prayer who thought he might have broken or dislocated his jaw at some point and it was causing pain in and through it and down his throat. He received prayer and it was healed. The pain went from 10 to 5 and after more prayer, 5 to 2, and again 2 to 0 and felt tingly all over over. He was filled with the presence of God.
Near Trinity House someone received prayer who had a hearing aid in his right ear and couldn't really hear without it in that ear. After one lot of prayer his hearing was restored 100%! He had no need for a hearing aid! Praise God!
A team member's husband had been suffering from back pain and his wife prayed for him. He felt warmth and a lovely sensation which he didn't seem to want to stop. Praise God, the pain went.
A lady at King's Table had had many operations in her hand as a result of injecting heroin. The hand was numb and cold. She received prayer and said she felt intense heat from inside. After more prayer numbness went and she could feel her fingers. She said it was like a lightening bolt had gone through it!
A lady received prayer against stomach pain at home. During prayer she felt intense heat and the pain went!
Another lady received prayer against pain in her side from her kidney. She felt heat and the pain went.
God is working in and through the lives of so many people. He is showing Himself in signs and wonders and proving that He is on the throne using people from all sorts of backgrounds who love Him and touching His children whether they know Him not.
