We went out twice in October with small teams but not small faith. In fact, if your local and a follower of Jesus and fancy joining us, do let me know! I've amalgamated the two October trips out into one entry - I hope you don't mind.
The first time out, on the 6th, a lady known to us for a long time came up and asked for prayer for peace as her 18 year old cat was dying. The lady loves God. She also wanted prayer for her home.
The same day a gentleman came up after reading the flyer. He asked if we believed in what it said and we had a chat. We were able to pray for him against pancreatitis and other issues. After more chat, we prayed that the chains of old would be broken, that he could change the pattern of poor decision making, and stop the cycle of life repeating itself. He left us with much peace.
The next time out we were able to pray against epilepsy with a lady. She was wary of coming over to the bench so we prayed where she was. We were able to share about her family.
A gentleman we have prayed with before came for more prayer against cancer. Praise God, it is no worse and he is happy in himself and able to go on a mission trip in Asia. He went with peace and the Holy Spirit moving.
A lady known from King's Table came and shared about how she knows Jesus and another guy who regularly comes for a coffee had a long talk about Jesus.
A lady came and sat on the bench. When asked, she asked for prayer for her brother who had bowel cancer and has been undergoing treatment. We prayed for peace, strength, and the ending of the cancer.
An ex-team member came for prayer for her driving test. Its always lovely to see her and I look forward to her next visit.
So, that was October. God is moving!
