Healing on the Streets 27th August 2011

A small team went out on the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend. God was gracious and the team were able to pray for a good number of people. Quite a number of them had an underlying spiritual issue that was apparent to the team members praying for them, but no matter where they were at, they were able to take a moment to experience a little of God's love for them.

  • We prayed for lady came who was anxious about her Grandmother.
  • We prayed with another lady who was supporting a friend through illness and finding the pressure hard going.
  • We prayed with a lady for her fiance's relationship with someone. She had been a member of a sect and so we prayed God's love and presence on her.
  • A lady came who had spoken to a team member before. She knew something of God and we prayed peace, friendships, a job...etc over her. She came to church the next day.
  • A lady came who had lost a pet and was sad. She might consider coming to church or King's Table.
  • We prayed against a lady's toothache which affected both sides of her mouth and after prayer the pain went on one side.
  • We prayed for a new family, for blessing for them all and we gave thanks for the safe arrival of their new baby.
  • We had prayed previously with a lady who came again. She had been to a spiritualist church. We prayed God's light, love and presence over her.
We also had conversations with a number of people including a couple who were interested in coming to church and some Jehovah's Witnesses. Praise God!

Looking forward to more signs and wonders next time.
