Wow, what a morning!
This week we were joined by some great youngsters from Causeway Coast Vineyard together with some of our own Trinity Kidz. They were down at the Racecourse nice and early and created a brilliant buzz around the place. They went out in teams "treasure hunting" and came back with exciting tales of how God had led them to people who exactly matched the "clues" they had been given. Not everyone they talked to wanted to be prayed for but those who did were thankful. I can't get over how up for it the young people were. It takes a load of courage to go up to perfect strangers and tell them you've got a message from God for them! Both churches can be really proud of their young people!! It really inspired some of us oldies too and as a result even more people got to hear from the Lord.
It was really easy to invite people in to the awning to be prayed for because the children were there. One lady who had chronic health problems had been nervous about approaching us on earlier visits to the market but this time she came in and received prayer. She even asked about meetings at Church as she wanted to go. We'd really love to have Kidz teams down at the market again...it adds so much to what we're doing. Church family was definitely on display with people from 10 to retirement age, all ministering to passers by and each other.
Our regular traders were really pleased to see us. Several said that it felt better when we were around. Another lady just stood by the awning, saying she'd been drawn up to the part of the market we were in, and now felt a tremendous sense of peace. During the morning, between us we prayed for at least 15 people and talked to loads more. Rog and I prayed before we went out that we'd lose track of what the Lord was doing because so much would be going on, and that really did happen!!
A big thanks to all who turned out...and a big shout for the Coleraine crew, who must by now be truly exhausted. Every blessing to you guys if you ever get to read this!
