Healing on the Streets 27th March 2010

Another wonderful day was had out on the streets of Cheltenham today. We were a small but happy band as we went out having been most definitely touched by the Holy Spirit in our worship time - more of that later! Here's the highlights of the morning's events:

- We prayed with a lady for release from cancer and for her knee which is awaiting an op. She felt heat in her knee and those praying felt clicking in it.
- A guy, a visitor to King's Table, had prayer for a change in his life and to come away from the dark, toward God's light.
- A couple had prayer where they stood as they talked with one of us.
- A man had prayer for a damaged achiles tendon from us and his young son - very touching. He went away with significantly less pain, finding it much easier to walk and said he'll come back to tell us how he's getting on next week. Praise God!
- A chap had prayer for depression, mental health issues, stiffness in his neck and various other physical issues.
- We prayed with a gentleman for his wife by proxy. She is expected to undergo a serious of injections into her eye over 2 years to combat macular degeneration and they are understandably concerned. Let's pray & believe she won't need the jabs.
- We prayed for a lady's stiff knees quickly so she could continue on her way with her husband.
- We prayed by proxy for a lady with OCD through her mother & sister. Progress has been slow, but we prayed for breakthrough and a release.
- We prayed with a regular at King's Table - for his father after the trauma of losing his legs in an attack and for himself for release from addictions.
- A lady had a general chat and discussed Alpha
- Another lady chatted about going on after bereavement and enquired about Alpha where she lives, in Evesham.
- Yet another lady chatted about church connections through her daughter and was pointed towards Alpha.
- On returning to Trinity House, one of our number realised that the carpal tunnel syndrome he'd been having trouble with had not been troubling him all morning and must have been healed in the worship time before going out on the street!

What an amazing God we have! More next time please, Lord.
